Tuition & Payments
Transparent financial policies, payment schedules, and digital payment integrations to ease the administrative process for families.
Financial Commitments
Tuition payments at St. John ensure we can provide top-tier educators, maintain our state-of-the-art facilities, and supply superior educational materials. Fees are reviewed annually by the school board.
1. Registration Fee
A one-time, non-refundable administrative fee applies to all new and returning students at the beginning of the Ethiopian academic year (Meskerem/September). This secures the student's enrollment spot.
2. Annual Tuition
Tuition is divided into specific installments for local convenience. Parents have the option to pay:
- Annually: A single lump sum paid at registration.
- Termly (Quarterly): Four equal installments spread across the academic year.
3. Additional Assessments
Depending on the student's grade and active choices, other fees may occasionally apply:
- National Examination Registration (Grade 6, 8, 12)
- Specific specialized club materials or out-of-town retreat travel
Notice on Late Payments
Late tuition fees are subject to penalty surcharges. Habitual delinquency may result in the withholding of official transcripts or report cards at the end of the term until the balance is legally cleared.
Accepted Payment Methods
For security and efficiency, the finance office strongly prefers digital and bank-direct transactions. Cash is highly discouraged for large tuition sums.
